Mental Health problems on college students have become a prevailing theme and proven to be the leading causative factor for suicidal death, suicidal ideations and eating disorders. This essay identifies the current treatment approaches and why these approaches have proven ineffective despite ongoing efforts to improve college students’ mental health. This essay further explores the world of college students born with mental illnesses and why college staff may have difficulties identifying such types of students.
